Access to Facilities: Members can use school facilities, such as study hall, gyms or science labs, especially for special projects or activities.
Library Resources: Members have borrowing privileges for books and other materials. Online resources such as Office 365 for Education member account, laptops for member use and other educational resources.
Extracurricular Activities: Members have access to sports, music programs, and clubs. Participation in these may be subject to the same rules and requirements as for enrolled students.
Curriculum and Materials: Members have access to curriculum materials or textbooks. Counselors and tutors for curricula or educational resources that align with state standards.
Testing and Assessments: Members have access to testing and assessment services or facilitate testing for homeschooled members. This can be particularly useful for meeting the annual assessment requirements. Regents certificate testing, Iowa testing, education level assessments, CLEP Diplomas with college credits are available through the Co Op.
Homeschool Support Groups and Workshops: Members have access to workshops, training sessions, or support groups for homeschooling parents and their children. These can provide valuable information on curriculum planning, educational strategies, and compliance with state regulations.
Academic Counseling: For members preparing for high school graduation or college, we offer academic counseling or advice on meeting graduation requirements and planning for post-secondary education.
Other Resource for Members: Members have access to our video production studio, they can get certified in industry leading video editing and production platforms, use the studio for their own online presence, or for the creation of video or audio projects. They also have access to our 3D printing facility and many other technical learning and certification resources.
